I have family visiting from California this weekend and am very excited to see them at my parents house for lunch tomorrow. I thought I'd make sure I updated everything I had on my camera and made tonight so that my aunt could take a look at them. She's been supportive of my craft work. Thanks Margaret! I LOVE THESE! This pair is actually mine. Both beads are shell-like. The top disc bead is pink and the bottom bead is yellow-toned. Very pretty!
This pair is really pretty b/c of the two bottom beads. The blue and white bead have a shine to them that vary the shades of their color. A small teal colored bead sits on top.
Here are the metal crosses I like so much sitting over a purple bead. Cute.
These purple stones were so pretty I had to buy a strand of them. I left this stone all by itself b/c it's so beautiful.
Here is the first "fancier looking" wristlet purse that I made. It's a crinkle gold fabric that I added a shimmery pink/gold ribbon to. I wanted to start making some of the wristlets nice enough for gals to wear when they dress up. This is very simple, but pretty.

More Goodies
These are HUGE beads, but really cool. They have painted silver around carved flowers.
This is the first necklace I've made like this. The beaded wire is attached to hemp cord, which allows you to wear the necklace at different lengths by tying it where you'd like. It's pretty sweet!
This is another dragonfly necklace with blue glass beads and wooden beads....really pretty.
I really like both of these. The chandelier earrings are really pretty with the different shades of green/teal. I'm going to make a pair of these for myself. I also love these metal cross looking beads and thought that the pink teardrop pearl looked nice with it.
This earring is BIG. I saw the idea in a beading magazine and it looked really cool. The concept was to make the earring look like a Chinese lantern. The only bead I had large enough to play around with this was a big pearl. It's still fun.
There's always more to come to check back often! Take care!

Creations I Forgot About...
This is a windchime looking thing that I made. I love it. It matched the colors in our bedroom. I just don't really have anywhere to hang it yet.
Two sets of dangles I made the other night.
Here are some more of the cute little wristlet purses that I make. They're perfect for your phone, credit card, and for me, my chapstick. You just hang it on your wrist and forget about it. It's nice not having to keep track of a big 'ol purse when you're out with friends.
Some drawings I did last week. The first is my usual cherry blossom tree that I love to do. And the second is from a picture I took of my brother when we were kids. It's from one of our Door County vacations and Dan is staring out at Lake Michigan. I love this one.
More drawings and fun with stamps....hah.
More earrings. I need earrings that I can just wear day to day with my tee shirts and jeans.
The first necklace is for my sister-in-law, Natalie. The second I made last week and it's the first I've done with chain and beads.
