I made this years ago in college as an assignment in my printmaking class. It's about my grandmother's death from cancer and a car accident. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done. The first picture is paint and so is the second. The third picture is all magazine cutouts. I scanned myself and various objects....and added a filter to the photos so I could split up the various areas of color. The first picture represents the anger I had....."The Virus" is a band that I used to listen to all the time and represents the cancer well. The second photo represents the sad acceptance to it all....and the third picture is about mourning her death.
This is a collage I made years ago too. I love to cut out pictures and words out of magazines. This was in my sketchbook and I took a picture of it.
These are the same words from the collage above, just stamped. I love how the stamped letters look.
This is a bracelet that I made yesterday. I love the red wire....it's different and fun.
I've been wanting to make jewelry with ribbon for quite some time and this was my first attempt. I made it yesterday. I think it's pretty.
A while back Nate and I got a free "Sons of Anarchy" bandana from Harley Davidson for something or another. I've been holding onto it for a long time until I could figure out what I wanted to do with it. I finally used it as a giant patch on a bag that I made for myself. I love this thing! And it's an excellent show.
Let me know what you think of this stuff so far. I still have a bunch of earrings I need to get pictures of and put on here. I hope you're all well. Take care!
